There’s something I love about the bookends of a wedding weekend.
The night before: cocktails, old friends arriving, everyone dressed up, the anticipation of what’s coming.
The morning after: coffee, pastries, slightly slower conversations, and one last chance to be together before everyone heads home.
Two completely different moods. One wedding weekend.
So when I started thinking about coordinating invitations for a welcome cocktail party and farewell breakfast, matching cards felt a little too easy.
My completely reasonable response: put them on opposite sides of a coaster.
One piece of paper. Two completely different parties.
The first side is The Night Before—a deep green scalloped coaster designed for welcome cocktails at a dark, intimate bar. Martini illustration, hand-drawn lettering, a little gold, and all the information guests need for Friday night.
Flip it over and the mood changes completely.
The Morning After is light and bright: warm ivory, green and gold, a steaming coffee cup, and the details for a casual farewell breakfast.
Same shape. Same visual language. Completely different atmosphere.
And because they're printed back-to-back, the two events literally become part of the same piece.
Why stop at an invitation?
That's the idea behind Paper Worlds.
Wedding stationery doesn't always have to look—or behave—like wedding stationery.
A key card can be an RSVP.
A loyalty card can start a wedding weekend.
A matchbook can lead guests to the after party.
And a coaster can take them from the first cocktail to the last cup of coffee.
Because the best paper doesn't just tell guests where to be.
It belongs to the experience.
